eHow Online Earning Reports

Lots of newbie members hated eHow.
Lots of old members love eHow.
Issues: Bugs, costumer support, not a user-friendly web site, etc.

What’s the difference between the 2 types of users? When veteran members found some bugs, most are well-adjusted and patiently waits for the site to update earnings, tried other ways to upload articles and pictures and it’s just another eHow day. While some novice members are grumbling about a waste of time for the site's bugs that has not been fixed for years. But at least the team is working and I hope that someday, the site would be better.

Here are few things that I learned while working with eHow:
  1. Creating articles using the Search Engine Optimization in eHow or to any of my blogs where I added advertising revenue.
  2. Editing my older article titles and keywords.
  3. Learn other ways to earn online by participating in the forum.

My 2009 Earnings Interpretation

I started joining this site last April 2009 and paid right away on my first month since my total earning for the month was more than $10 with 11 articles. I was motivated by this system and I keep on writing but not that really serious.

Notice the increased of my earnings from April ($10.66) to September ($56.02), I had more than 50 articles at that time. I wanted to prove to myself and some friends that I could still earn in ehow even without writing or adding more articles. In short, I took a break until the end of December. Notice also $50 average between September and December. I added more articles (100 in all) but there was a huge swept in January and made me discouraged to keep going. So, I took another break and still earning but my earning are getting lower every month. I needed to do something. I read more success stories and tips which is very effective because it keeps me going. I have now 156 articles. I hope that my earnings will start to pickup this year.

My new Strategy:

Searching for how to ideas:

1. Assessing my own skills, hobbies, crafts.
2. Using Google Suggest. Type any how to and Google will suggest. Prepare a paper and a pen. Play the alphabets, like how to A, how to B, and soon and so forth. And in just few minutes you can have a bunch of article ideas to write.

Click the link above.
Enter your keyword or phrase from your lists in Google Suggest. Then scroll down and Choose Column to display (Show average CPC).
Focus on the Estimated Avg. Cost Per Click (CPC) =>$1 - $10 or more is good.
Focus on the Advertisers Competition => more than 50% but not 100%
Focus on the Local Search Volume => 1,000 or more and less than 15,000, the ideal is 10,000 or less.
Why are we doing this? Simple, we need to write articles while higher Cost Per Click keywords. That’s how advertising revenue publishers earns and it is one of the largest contributor of our earnings.

Backup your Work

In case any of your articles will be swept away or delete for some reasons. Writing in Microsoft Works for Word Processor or in Microsoft Word or any other software that you can obviously see any wrong spelling, grammar etc. Although your can still find your deleted article in Google Cache. Just search the exact article title in Google and click Cache. It's there temporarily. Have fun copy and paste.

Promote articles and Backlinks

Join other writing sites that has higher Google Page ranks or any of the sites under "Residual Earnings, Get paid to Socialize or Upfront payments" and other sites or forums. Do your homework.

With this new strategy adopted from eHow veterans, I am hoping to increase my earnings this year. It is not a matter of how many articles you have made as long as you are using the right tools, then earnings will pick up soon. I am also applying this strategy to my other writing sites.
