To paper fold each Platonic solids is to examine each characteristics:
- How many faces are there?
- What kind of polygons does each faces represents?
- How many faces that meet at a certain vertex?
- Tetrahedron - It has 5 (equilateral triangle) faces.
- Octahedron - It has 8 (equilateral triangle) faces.
- Icosahedron - It has 20 (equilateral triangle) faces.
- Hexahedron - It has 4 (square) faces. It is also called as the Cube.
- Dodecahedron - It has 12 (pentagon) faces.
- Fold equilateral triangles in each corresponding polyhedron.
- Fold connectors to join two or more triangles.
- Search the pattern of each solids.
- Glue or paste them according to each kind.
